Hong Kong Music Summer Orchestra

To celebrate its 25th anniversary, Asian Youth Orchestra (AYO) has expanded its annual program in summer 2015, to create a “Hong Kong Music Summer Orchestra”.  The orchestra is designed especially for 100 or more local Hong Kong talented students from 12 to 22 years old, to join forces with AYO and AYO Alumni for a special AYO 25th Anniversary Concert at the Hong Kong Coliseum. 

Impresstra has been invited by AYO to fully organise and produce such "enormous" scale orchestra with very limited preparation time, to celebrate AYO's 25th Anniversary on 16 August, 2015 at Hong Kong Coliseum. We developed creative ideas from stage setting, lighting, audio to video special effects, in collaboration with 300 instrumentalists and 300 vocalists, singing Beethoven's Ode to Joy, and special guests -- British Cellist Steven Isserlis and Canto pop superstar Alan Tam.
